Gentle Universe Postcard Giveaway (until Dec 15, 2011)

Dear friends,

We are giving away Gentle Universe handmade postcards! The giveaway is inspired by the wonderful folks from Etsy and Fika Fika Fika promoting snail mail and analogue correspondence.

If you would like to receive a postcard, just e-mail your postal address to gentle.universe@yahoo.com or csgarcimo@gmail.com. We have 30 postcards to give away.

Last day of sending your postal address is on December 15, 2011. We will mail the cards simultaneously on December 16, 2011. Feel free to share the info to everyone who loves postcards.

This is fun! We are excited to send the postcards with handwritten message! Open to Philippine residents only. We wish to send cards outside the Philippines on our next give away.

Kindly e-mail us on or before December 8, 2011 so we could prepare the postcard. You will not experience the fun of receiving the postcard via mail though. :-)

Vintage Pedal Cars and Tricycles

We've been looking online at lovely photos of vintage pedal cars and tricycles. It would be nice to have one for our son Dylan.


Pedal cars! No need to recharge.

We wish to find even old pedal cars and tricycles at thrift shops. That would be a fun restoration project!

Gentle Universe at Ayala Museum

Gentle Universe performed at Ayala Museum for Ang Illustrador ng Kabataan's (AngINK)
exhibit and 20th anniversary celebration. Nov 21, 2011, 6PM.


We performed live ambient music and sounds during the exhibit viewing. (Cris Garcimo - keyboard, toy piano, beat programming, sound design; Valerie Faye - keyboard, toy piano2 and Yen Reville - visuals)


AngINK exhibit at Ayala is from from Nov 21, 2011 to Jan 15, 2012. Celebrating 20 years of Philippine Children's Book Illustration. Don't miss it!


The big boat illustration behind us is from the children's book "The Moon is my Friend" written by Chit Litiaco-acosta and illustrated by Mela Advincula.

Gentle Universe at Ayala Museum for INK's 20th Anniversary

Gentle Universe will perform at Ayala Museum for the anniversary celebration of INK. Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) and Ayala Museum present the exhibition "20 Taon" in celebration of the twenty years since the foundation of the Philippines' first and only organization for illustrators of children's books.
