We were invited by Janice Villanueva of Mommy Mundo to perform at Expo Mom 2012 at Rockwell tent on May 5, 2012. It was our second time to play for a Mommy Mundo event. The first was at Mercato Centrale for Mommy Milkshake 2011, a family-friendly run advocating breastfeeding. We love performing at Mommy Mundo events! Thanks for having us again!
Launched in 2008, Expo Mom is the "premier lifestyle event for moms in Manila. It is a trade expo, all-day workshop, shopping destination, mommy party, family occasion, mompreneur lab, all rolled into one."

We were scheduled to open the event at 10:00 in the morning. It was touching to read the twit of Janice Villanueva of Mommy Mundo: "Morning blessings to all! @GentleUniverse welcomes all moms to #expomom2012 :)"

We played original ambient music for about 30 minutes. We also played our tracks "Saglit" and "Tree House Playroom".

After our set, Shey, Dylan and I checked out the participating exhibitors and booths. We finally found Googoo & Gaga! We bought a cool shirt for Dylan. It was nice to meet Audrey Dimarucot, the mommy-in-charge for Googoo & Gaga. I told her that I met her husband AJ while he was still providing visuals for Morse. I've been a fan of AJ's works and designs ever since.
We also spotted Tiny Buds! I wrote about Tiny Buds last year after Shey discovered Tiny Buds Rice Baby Powder. It is a baby powder made from 100% real rice grains, biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
We also checked out the lovely photos from the STORK STUDIO
and the clothes for kids made of 100% Organic Cotton.

We also listened to the discussions about parenting, including Family Congress' Maribel Dionisio and Maribel Aligbay talk about back to basic parenting in modern times. We learned a lot from the discussions. Congratulations to Mommy Mundo, all the exhibitors, guest speakers, organizers and sponsors of Expo Mom 2012. It was fun and enlightening! Hope to see you all again next year.
